You can find beauty in many places even in death. Normally I'm not so fond of taking pictures of flowers, but this dying lily was too beautiful to go to a silent death without some remembrance.
exquisite, especially the last. I can never resist leaving lilies to shed pollen and leaves on my wooden floor - what a mess - but - for those few hours before it gets smeared or I have to clean it up it is so poignant.
Delphiniums too, with the amazing blue of their petals...
